I Just dont get why people bet the spread favorite when they can just bet moneyline favorite. Am I missing something? because if you bet -7.5 and the team wins by 5. YOU LOSE! But if you just bet the moneyline for the favorite to win, you don't have to worry about losing because the spread didnt cover on points. I mean am I like the only smart person in the world? Why is nobody talking about how the favorite on the spread is literally pointless to pick? I get why you would pick the underdog spread option but it makes no sense for the favorite spread option. You're literally trying to magically predict a certain amount of points will be scored and that literally should be impossible. To say a team will just win outright would seem to give you a "bettor" chance?

Does anyone know example Lakers are -115 favs in the alternate spread they have a spread of +8.5 but the odds are -525 does anyone know how to explain this pls?

So would you want a -110 over a -170? The more negative it goes is it a better chance of winning?

The BIGGEST problem with Sports betting is GREED and trying to SCALE. A person can CONSISTENTLY win $2000 - $6000 a month with certain tragedies but that same person will want to win $20k to $60k a months and this is where you lose everything. The amount of money you can realistically win consistently is just not enough for most people in the end. Everybody wants the BIG SCORE.

I will give everyone a little advice, you are not going to win anything playing Fanduel or DraftKings way back when they first came out I started playing then I straight up got cheated in a fantasy golf game one wknd and when I emailed DKS and reported it they simply refunded me my 5 dollars and still let the other person win the 1st place money so I knew then it was a rigged game, so I quit playing and some time later I found out there was a class action lawsuit against them and I signed up and believe it or not I ended up 2 years later receiving a little over 500 dollars in 2 separate payments no joke this is gods honest truth!!! So be aware of the other players in the contest you enter because when it comes down to it someone’s gonna have every high scoring player that day and it won’t be you

The most common teaser bets are actually 3,6 and 9

So NYG going from -2 dog with the +6 putting them at +4 there no longer dogs right? Or what am I missing? Also what's the pros and cons to doing this style of betting? I'm only seeing the down side to the teaser beat
